teamsTables Features

With teamsTables you can do the following:

Manage league tables
The sample data file includes team statistics for the English Premier, Championship, Leagues 1 and 2; the Conference; Scottish Premier, Leagues 1, 2 and 3. Subscribers also get full team details for the Welsh Premier, Highland League, Nth Ireland Premier and Conference North and South. Each football league division can be displayed with teams positioned by points total. However, you can sort the league tables in a variety of ways to find out which team has, for example, scored the most home goals, won the fewest games, conceded the most away goals etc.

You can choose to sort by division or choose to sort all the teams. You can also limit your sorts to English league teams or Scottish league teams.

Enter match results
You keep the teamsTables data up-to-date by entering match results and saving the data to disk. You can also subscribe to our download data service to avoid having to enter the match results yourself.

Match forecasts
You can predict the outcome of UK football matches between teams in the same or different divisions. The teamsTables application uses three different methods for match forecasting. You can choose to use one method or see the results of all three.

Edit data
All of the data is fully editable. Information can be edited in the main table or within program 'drawers'. The application has complete Undo/Redo capabilities.

OnLine Updates
You can check via a menu item to see if you are using the latest version of the application. Updates can be performed from within the application or can be downloaded as a '.dmg' installer from the website. Subscribers are able to download the latest data file from a password-protected area of the website.

Help
teamsTables comes with its own built-in help system. There is also a PDF manual which can be downloaded as part of the installer or as a separate file.

Multi-window
The teamsTables application was programmed using Apple's Xcode development system. The program is a standard Cocoa-based document application. This means you can have multiple windows on display. For example, you can compare the latest league position of your favourite team in one window with its position the previous week in another.
