Once you have successfully downloaded the disk image to your Mac, double-click the 'teamsTables.dmg' file to open a window. Drag the 'teamsTables' application to your Applications folder. Drag the '2005-2006' folder and the pdf to your Documents folder.

When you run teamsTables you will be presented with an empty untitled window. To better understand how the application works, close this window by clicking the red close button at the top left, then choose Open from the teamsTables File menu. Navigate to where you copied the '2005-2006' folder and open the file in that folder named '01Jan06.STtT'

You will now see a teamsTables document window with a full table of information.

The table shows the information on all the football teams in the English Premiership, Championship and League Divisions 1, 2 and Conference, plus the Scottish Premiership and League Divisions 1, 2 and 3.

By default, all teams are displayed and sorted by points (PTS) value. Each column header can be clicked on to produce a different sorting order. The arrow in the column header will indicate the sorting direction - ascending or descending - another click in a selected column will reverse the sort order. The table can display different divisions - see screenshots.

Open the supplied pdf for full instructions on using the teamsTables application, or choose 'teamsTables Help' from the program's Help menu.
